A 41-year-old woman, a mother of four and a staff of the Rivers State Primary Health Care Board, has disclosed why she killed her 40-year-old husband, in Abalama, Rivers State.
The suspect, Ajemine Inedugoba, confessed that she killed her husband Tyger, and buried his corpse in a shallow grave, because he left her for another woman.
Ajemine told the police men, that she hired two men who killed her husband on January 25, 2019, because the disease beats and rapes her anytime he pressed for sex.
A source revealed that Tyger, before his death, had a misunderstanding with Ajemine, a situation which made him to move out of his home, but they reconciled after was.
However, after they got back together, the diseased wife made an arrangement with two men to terminate her husband’s life in their residence. It was said he was in his sleep before the attack.
His corpse was buried at the back of their house, in a shallow grave. Then after, she took his car to a nearby market and parked it where it could be recovered by the police.
She also took his mobile phones and sent text messages to her husband’s brothers informing them that Tyger was traveling out of the state on a business trip.
After thorough investigation, Ajemine was arrested alongside one of her accomplices, Kingsley Nna, and the duo led the police to the spot where the body of the victim was buried.
In his confession, Kingsley Nnaa said Ajemine paid him and his friend the sum of N100,000 to kill her husband and that he also had sex with her severally.
Nna said: “She told us that her husband was maltreating her. The day after we killed her husband, she called me and said she wanted me to make love to her and when I met her in a hotel we made love for two hours.
One week later, we met again in that same hotel in Egelu Town and we made love again. We also made love for the third time, but I stopped responding to her calls because she wanted to turn me to her husband.”
